The report adds that Ford's letter to dealers says the Mustang GTD

will be invoiced to them at MSRP.

Typically, a dealer is invoiced at a lower price than the MSRP to

provide that dealer with a profit margin, but with this particular car, a dealer that sells

a GTD "will receive a flat payment of $15,000 upon successful delivery" -

the same sort of process that the Blue Oval employed with the Ford GT supercar.
